HBCU Summit at DSU

I recently got back from the Third Annual HBCU Summit at Delaware State University, and let me tell you it was extremely well done.  Jocelyn, Bill and the rest of the committee put on an excellent slate of presentations, information sessions, and networking ability.  Special thanks needs to go out to Matt Fortune, Director of Recreation and Intramural Sports from DSU, as he hosted the event.

DSU has amazing facilities, and are in the process of opening up a brand new rec center.  While I didn't get to see their current facilities, I did get to see their educational buildings and they were phenomenal.  Mike clearly has the support of his administrators, as two of the keynote speakers work in the Student Affairs aspect of university life.

Please keep in mind that the Region I Student Lead On is considered a pre-conference workshop at the Region I Conference in Lowell.  I really would like to see as many of you out there as possible, and if you're interested in getting involved, just email me!

Have a great week, and keep a look out for me on the UB highlights as that yellow vested guy you saw during the hail mary, was yours truly.  Stay in touch, and Go Bulls!

Bryan
